Past EventsEngaged Learning Symposium 2009
On June 10, 2009 we held a one day event at the Kwantlen Surrey Campus to provide a forum where faculty, students, and other interested participants came together to listen, consider, and discuss the impacts of and the considerations around Engaged Learning. As Kwantlen evolves we are influenced by and wish to propagate the university values of open communication and the free exchange of ideas. We are working together with our commitment to comprehensive undergraduate education, characterized in many ways that meet the diverse needs of our region. We heard from students what engages them in learning and how many of our colleagues are innovatively teaching in ways that are Interdisciplinary, Applied, and Relevant to both their disciplines and learning needs.
