International application deadlines and fees

Applications and associated fees received from international students are only applicable to the term applied to and are non-transferable and non-refundable. Submission of an application does not guarantee admission nor seat availability. International students are required to re-apply if unable to attend for their first semester.

It is the student's responsibility to ensure they apply in sufficient time to receive a student visa. Please refer to the Citizenship and Immigration Canada website for approximate times.

+ Note: Due to university closures during the holiday season, online Applications for Admission will only be accepted until Dec.16. To apply between Dec 17-23 applicants must download the PDF version of the Application for Admission (at kwantlen.ca/apply) and submit it in-person to any campus Student Enrolment Services Office.

NOTES
1Applies to all selective entry programs. All documentation in support of your application must be submitted to the Office of Admissions no later than two weeks past the application deadline (unless otherwise specified in the program-specific admission requirements). Admitted students will register during the scheduled registration period.

2Applies to all open admission undergraduate-level programs. Proof of English Proficiency must also be provided by the application deadline. Admitted students will register during the scheduled registration period.

3 Applies only to International applicants who possess a valid study permit. Applications to most programs are restricted during the late application period. Please consult with the Office of New Student Programs for further information prior to submitting a late application for admission. Registration for admitted applicants will take place after scheduled registration is complete.

+ If an application start or end date falls on a weekend or on a holiday, the deadline will be extended to the next business day for both online and in-person applications.
