How to Change Your Program
Kwantlen students wishing to change programs are required to submit a completed Program Status Change Form. Program Status Change forms will be reviewed by the Office of Admissions and a change in your program status will be reflected in the 'Student Menu' section of your online myKwantlen account. Submission of this form is not a guarantee of admission to your chosen program. You are strongly advised to discuss your educational goals with an Educational Advisor prior to applying. www.kwantlen.ca/advising.html

Prior Learning Assessment (PLA)
Kwantlen recognizes that students may attain significant learning at a post-secondary level through work, training, and informal experiences outside the formal post-secondary system or from institutions with whom Kwantlen does not have course transfer and articulation agreements. Through Prior Learning Assessment (PLA), Kwantlen will grant credit toward a certificate, diploma, or degree for this learning if it fulfills the requirements of the program to which the student has applied.

Refunds
Application and commitment fees are non-refundable. Only in extraordinary circumstances beyond the control of the student may a refund of the commitment fee be requested. Canadian students to whom this applies must follow the procedures as stated in policy C.39 titled “Refunds of Tuition and Other Fees” which can be found online at www.kwantlen.ca/policies. International students to whom this applies must follow the procedures as stated in policy K.1 titled "Refunds of Tuition and Other Fees for International Students, Non-Canadian Citizens / Non-permanent Residents".

Third Party Waiver
Kwantlen is unable to release any information regarding a student’s personal information according to Kwantlen’s Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy regulations. If you wish to allow a third party to act on your behalf, access admissions, registration or academic record information you will need to complete a Third Party Waiver form. This form can be found at Student Enrolment Services or online at www.kwantlen.ca/__shared/assets/3rd_Party_Waiver_Release_of_Information14674.pdf
Updating Your Address
To ensure that you receive all correspondence and important information from Kwantlen, we require students to maintain their address with us. You can easily change or update your address and contact information at any time by accessing your MyKwantlen account at www.myKwantlen.ca
Withdrawing My Application
Applicants wishing to withdraw their application can do so my submitting written request of withdrawal or in person by visiting a Student Enrolment Services office. For hours of operation, go to www.kwantlen.ca/ses
