Used book Buyback runs 3 times a year - April, August, and December, usually during exam period. Dates and times are posted on the Home page of our website.
Our Buyback is "Cashless". You will need your Student ID and your Debit card.
**Note **The Bookstore cannot guarantee that we will buy your books back.
Frequently asked Questions
1 What determines the price I get for my book?
If it is needed by the Kwantlen Bookstore, you will get 50% of the used selling price. If it is not needed by the Kwantlen Bookstore or we have met our quota, the Wholesaler may offer to buy it at a lower price (usually 10-30-%).
2 Does one buyback location offer different prices than another?
No, they are all the same.
3 Why did the person ahead of me in line get a higher price?
See question # 1.
4 If the book was bought ‘used’, can it still be sold?
Yes, it does not matter if the book was bought new or used.
5 If the book is highlighted or written in, can it still be sold?
Yes, as long as it is still readable.
6 Can I get Cash for my book?
No. We do not keep cash on hand for Buyback payments.
