Pre-Convocation Checklist
Congratulations on completing your journey at Kwantlen!
Below is some information to help you complete that final step and make it through your convocation ceremony.
1. Check your student information.
Please ensure that your address and contact information is kept up to date by viewing it online through your myKwantlen account. Be sure to clear up all "Holds" and ensure you do not have any Accounting Fees, Library Fines, etc. If your account shows a Hold, your credential will be withheld. It is the student's responsibility to ensure that all fees and fines have been cleared. Email correspondence will only be done through your kwantlen.net account.
2. Meet your program requirements before the deadline.
All grades required for graduation must be submitted to the Records and Graduation office by May 2, 2012 in order to be eligible to attend the May 31, 2012 convocation ceremony. This includes Transfer Credit, Prior Learning Assessment, Incomplete Contracts, course substitutions and any other graduation grades. Students who do not meet this deadline are welcome to apply for our October 2012 convocation ceremony.
3. Apply for Graduation
Every candidate for a credential must make formal application for graduation. This information can be found on the Apply for Graduation Page.
4. Submit your Student Convocation Ceremony & Regalia Form.
The deadline to submit your Student Convocation Ceremony and Regalia form for the May 31, 2012 Convocation Ceremony is February 29, 2012 at 4:30 p.m..
5. Tell your guests.
Information for guests attending the ceremonies is available on this site, including information on directions to the Langley Events Centre, photography and video packages. If you have guests that are unable to attend your ceremony in person, all ceremonies will be available for viewing via Live Webcast.
6. Prepare for your Ceremony.
