Exam Jam
What is Exam Jam?
Exam Jam is a unique event on the Langley, Richmond and Surrey campuses dedicated to supporting students as they prepare for their exams. With the assistance of staff and faculty, the event is largely a Learning Centre initiative and was created to supplement existing academic and non-academic support programming for students leading up to exams. This one day event will incorporate a mix of programs that provide students the opportunity to engage in their course material as well as attend health-minded study breaks and activity sessions.
We have booked classrooms in advance to provide students, faculty and tutors with space to hold exam review sessions. Several of these rooms will be dedicated to subject specific departments or faculties (e.g., Math) to provide students with a chance to connect with others in the same course or program.
What Exam Jam Isn't:
Exam Jam is not a substitute for individual studying or material review. While the event offers many alternative opportunities for you to engage in your course material in meaningful ways, the most relevant and crucial information for your exams will ultimately come from your instructor.
Where is it being held?
Faculty review sessions and available tutoring will be held in the Learning Centres and various classrooms. Stress reduction sessions, healthy activities (e.g., Yoga) and nutritional breaks will also be held at each campus.
