Gamini has a Forensic Psychiatric nursing background with diverse work experience in management and teaching – mentoring. Currently, he teaches PSYN 3200 Environment, Global Problems & Health, a 7 credit nursing course in semester 6. He has developed PSYN 1200 & 3200 courses for the BPN. He is also the BPN coordinator and the Chair, Progressions & Admissions committee. He is interested in alternative therapies particularly in mindfulness training. Gamini speaks several languages and has presented his works at various national and international symposiums on mentoring, mindfulness & personality development. He is also a volunteer visiting lecturer to the faculty of Allied Health Sciences at the University of Peradeniya in Sri Lanka.

Marcy Luccock is a Registered Psychiatric Nurse and Registered Nurse. She has taught in community health and psychiatric nursing programs and teaches in the Bachelor of Psychiatric Nursing Program in semester one, and teaches pathophysiology in semester four. She also holds the position of Curriculum Coordinator for the program. Marcy is a musician, and plays the harp for special events. She also continues to enjoy sports and fitness, having been a competitive swimmer since early childhood.

I teach in the Bachelor of Psychiatric Nursing Program. I am currently conducting research on the topic of moral distress in nursing for my thesis and have a real interest in nursing ethics and ethical decision making.

Susan Power has been a psychiatric nurse for thirty years. She has specialized in the area of outpatient crisis and suicide prevention, community mental health, and child and adolescent mental health.
She works part time at Kwantlen and also is the team leader of a psychiatric outpatient program for adolescents with the Ministry of Children and Family Development.
