Food Safety for Food Handlers (Level 1) PNGN 1010
Food Safety for Food HandlersTM is an internet-based course in food safety. It is intended for food handlers, servers and other food industry personnel. This course has been approved by the B.C. Food Handler’s Training Courses Equivalency Committee.
The course is completed online with a windows-based computer, high-speed internet and Internet Explorer. Students progress at their own pace through eight easy-to-use interactive modules. The average time to complete is about 5 hours and must be completed within 30 days. Following completion of all modules, there is a 1 hour written exam scheduled at the Langley Campus.
$75.00 CAD, plus the application fee where applicable.
On successful completion, students will be issued a recognized certificate and will have an understanding of basic food safety principals.
