Selection Criteria
President's Ambassadorial Team Member Profile
Members of the team attend Kwantlen and community events and functions, and represent Kwantlen Polytechnic University as an extension of the Office of the President. The successful President's Ambassadorial Team Member will possess the following characteristics:
- Current enrolment as a full-time student at Kwantlen Polytechnic University
- Deans Honour Roll 1 year
- The desire and ability to lead others
- A willingness and ability to work collaboratively with other team members
- A sincere desire to positively and enthusiastically represent and promote Kwantlen Polytechnic University in the community
- Ability to speak publicly
- A commitment to participate in a structured Leadership and Advocacy training/coaching program
- A demonstrated history of community volunteerism, or involvement in an organization that performs public service (eg. Rotaract, Scouting, Guiding)
- A commitment of an average of five hours per month volunteer time
Application Process
Submit the online application form to the Office of the President.
To minimally qualify, applicants must be in good academic standing, enrolled at Kwantlen full-time and be able to make the time commitment. Applicants will be scored according to the following criteria:
