Academic Achievement Recognition

• First Year Academic Achievement Students- These students are selected based on their grades from the Fall and Spring semesters
• Second Year Academic Achievement Students - Last year's recipients who have continued their success into their second year at Kwantlen
• Third Year Academic Achievement Students - Students who have continued their academic success into their third year!

Leadership Recognition

• Club leaders: SLD Club leaders volunteer their time and efforts to give students valuable experiences, contacts, and more!
• The Above and Beyond Leadership Award - Granted to a student who has served for at least one academic year on the leadership/executive team of a Kwantlen student club or society and has contributed to Kwantlen student life in an "above and beyond" manner while also maintaining a high academic standard as a full-time student
• The Giving Back Citizenship Award - Granted to a student who has served in a leadership or volunteer capacity during the past year with a Kwantlen initiative benefiting a local, national or international charity while also maintaining a high academic standard as a full-time student.

FYE Awards for Academic & Career Preparation (ACP) Students

In recognition of the challenges of many first-year students, these awards are granted to two students in the ACP program who demonstrate excellent effort and performance with the intention to progress into university level course work. Financial need may also be considered. Recipients are recommended by ACP faculty. (2 x $500)
