Jonas-Vidovic, Petra
Petra Jonas-Vidovic is presently a doctoral candidate at Simon Fraser University. Her research interests include:
- Youth justice
- Women and crime
- Mental disorder, trouble with the law, and sentencing
Petra's current graduate research is geared toward expanding knowledge into the area of youth and adult cognitive impairments and judicial dispositions. A few other project highlights have included the examination of patient aggression against staff at the B.C. Forensic Psychiatric Hospital, interviews with violent young offenders at the B.C. Youth Detention Facility, and interviews with Aboriginal victims of violence residing in the Vancouver Downtown Eastside.
