Course Schedule
Upper Level CoursesBeginning in Fall 2005 the department introduced a two-year rotation of upper level courses. This means that 3rd and 4th years courses will be offered at least once during a two year period (including Fall, Spring, and Summer semesters), faculty resources permitting. The following table lays out a preliminary timetable for upper level courses in the upcoming academic year.
This list remains tentative until the official Registration Guide & Timetable is released. It is very likely that the course plan will change so please wait until the Registration Guide & Timetable is released before finalizing your course planning.

Courses at the 1000 and 2000 level are offered in a regular rotation whenever possible. Courses with high demand, such as Canadian History, are ordinarily offered on each campus (Surrey, Richmond, and Langley). At least one section of Canadian History is ordinarily offered in computer-assisted mode (partially online). Students are reminded that a broad grounding in lower level history is often more appropriate than a geographically defined focus. Students who complete a wider range of courses will be better able to meet the prerequisite requirements for upper level courses.
