Third Age Learning at Kwantlen (TALK)

Life-long Learning - TALK provides those 50 and over
with creative and stimulating educational activities.
 

What makes TALK different?

TALK is a participatory learning experience with no quizzes, grades or prerequisites. The learning process is lively, full of discussion, controversy, humour, insight and wisdom. In addition to participating in courses, you can become a course facilitator, plan curriculum, identify speakers, prepare newsletters, recruit new members, help organize special events or promote TALK.

TALK membership is open to anyone 50 years or older. The annual membership fee for 2011-2012 is $10. Membership is valid from September 1, 2011 to August 31, 2012. Benefits of membership:

TALK Gives you Access to the Kwantlen Library

The Kwantlen Library is pleased to offer the following services and access to collections to TALK students and facilitators, and the Board of Directors of the TALK program:

  • Borrow books, journals and other materials
  • Access online Library research databases from on or off campus
  • Obtain Reference assistance in person, by phone or by e-mail

Please go to any campus Library during any open hours, identify yourself as a TALK student, provide your student number and the Kwantlen Library will issue you a Student Smart Card. Please be sure to take proof of identity with you.

Learning with a Difference!

The annual membership fee is $10. Membership year runs from September 1 to August 31.
